Free Tablet Providers & Coverage Map 2025 | FreeTabletGovt

Network Partners

Participating Providers & Coverage Map

The Free Tablet program is powered by top nationwide carriers. See which providers serve your state and what network coverage you can expect in 2025.

Who actually sends the tablet?

Many applicants are confused. The government provides the funding (via Lifeline/ACP funds), but private Wireless Providers are the ones who ship your device and manage your monthly service.

We connect you with approved providers that operate on the nation’s largest 4G LTE and 5G networks. This means you get the same signal quality as paying customers.

Types of Providers We Work With

National Carriers

Large providers that serve almost every state (e.g., AirTalk, QLink). They typically have the largest inventory of tablets like iPads and Galaxy Tabs.

Best for: Device Variety

Regional Experts

Providers focused on specific states (e.g., Oklahoma, California). They often offer better local customer support and faster shipping times.

Best for: Fast Shipping

Tribal Specialists

Carriers dedicated to Tribal Lands. Under the Tribal Lifeline benefit, they can offer $0 cost devices even when standard plans require a co-pay.

Best for: Tribal Residents

Switching & Transfer Rules

Can I switch providers if I’m unhappy?

Yes. You have the right to transfer your Lifeline/ACP benefit to another provider. However, usually, you can only transfer once every 30-60 days depending on the program rules.

Will I lose my tablet if I switch?

No. Once you receive the tablet, it is yours to keep. However, if you switch service providers, your old tablet might be locked to the old network for a certain period (usually 6-12 months).

Do these providers use 5G?

Yes. Most of our partners operate on major national networks (like T-Mobile or AT&T infrastructure), so if 5G is available in your area and your device supports it, you will get 5G speeds.
